Reading insulin syringes
U-100 insulin syringes use 100 units per 1 mL. 10 units = 0.10 mL, 25 units = 0.25 mL, and 50 units = 0.50 mL.
Reading mL syringes
Luer-lock syringes are read directly in mL. Use the mL result first, then compare equivalent U-100 units only as a guide.
